Trading telephony (the advanced telephone technology that, for example, banks have installed in trading environments) is an area undergoing rapid change, among other things through consolidations at the supplier level. Many financial institutions find themselves in a situation where it is difficult to justify large investments in order to solve problems that are likely to disappear over time but where there are extensive risks of refraining and where it is important to keep a cool head.
